Our Vision

Find Vision for Your Vocation by Hosting a Local Workshop

How can the Church be the Church, not just as it congregates on Sunday, but as it scatters into every sphere of society on Monday?

The Monday Church Workshop answers this question by calling and equipping Christians to live “Coram Deo”--before the face of God--in all areas of life and every sphere of society.  This two-day, locally hosted event is designed to help Christians understand and practically apply biblical worldview and wholistic ministry principles in the areas of calling and vocation.

Who Is the Workshop For?
The Monday Church Workshop is for formal leaders OF the Church (pastors, elders, deacons, priests and bishops). It is also for leaders IN the Church—members of local churches who are leaders in their homes, in the marketplace and in the public square.

Workshop Objectives

  • To envision leaders of and in the Church of the sacredness of the vocational calling of all Christians
  • To envision leaders of the Church to equip leaders in the Church to fulfill their priestly callings in every sector of society
  • To promote dialogue and develop strategies for intentional engagement of the Church in the sectors of society including family life, education, arts, media, entertainment, health, government, business, agriculture, and more.

Topics include

  • Recovering an understanding of the cultural/dominion mandate (Gen. 1:28-29)
  • The central role of the family in discipling the nations
  • The “Gates of the City”: How Christians can re-claim roles of cultural influence in the sectors and spheres of society
  • The role of formal church leadership in equipping the saints to be the Monday Church
  • Developing a biblical theology of vocation
  • Developing sector-based strategies and action plans
